1. I have an infant-in-arms; how can I add him/her to my ticket?

If your child is under 2 years old, you have the option to have them on your lap for free on domestic flights within the United States. The following are the steps to easily add an infant-in-arms to your flight ticket:

  • Sign into your official Delta flights website account and navigate to the “My Trips” section. 
  • In the “My Trips” section, click “Special Service Requests.”
  • Click the “Open” button under the “Infact in Arms” icon.
  • After that, select the “+” button beside “Request Infact in Arms” to add your child to your Delta tickets.
  • Enter the necessary details and select “Confirm” to successfully add your infant to the flight.

2. What are some of the requirements for carry-on pets?

Cats, household birds, and small dogs are allowed to join you in the cabin for a one-way fee paid during check-in. Your pet should comfortably fit in a well-ventilated carrier that can be easily kept under the seat in front of you.

Here are some of the requirements for passengers traveling with their pets:

  • Your pet should be at least 10 weeks old for domestic Delta flights. For passengers traveling to the U.S. from another country, it should be 16 weeks old. Minimum 15 weeks old pets are eligible to carry when flying to the European Union.
