  • In the next step, you can explore different flight options and choose the one that meets your schedule.
  • Enter the passenger details just like they appear on travel documents or passports, and click the “Continue to Payment” option at the end of the page.
  • Review your trip summary by carefully checking every detail, like Qatar Airline ticket price, flight timings, passenger details, etc. After skimming through each section, click on the “Purchase” button.

Baggage Policy

When booking tickets with Qatar Airways, here are some key points you should be aware of:

  • Qatar Airways’ baggage allowance policy differs based on the route and cabin class you choose for your flight.
  • For flights to/from Africa or the Americas, bag dimensions should not exceed 158 cm (62 in).
  • Bag dimensions for travel to all other places should not be beyond 300 cm (118 in).
  • For each hand baggage piece, the maximum dimension is 50+37+25 cm (20+15+10 in).
  • If you are carrying additional baggage, you have the option to purchase extra baggage at ticketing offices,, call centers, or city offices up to 3 hours before departure time. Alternatively, you can buy extra baggage at the airport’s check-in counter during the check-in process.
  • Ensure that any individual checked baggage does not exceed 32kg (70kb) in weight.
  • Besides your regular checked-in baggage allowance, you can carry hand baggage onto the cabin of your flight.
  • Your laptops and laptop bags must be within your permitted hand baggage.

Refund Policy

You must go through the following refund policy before reserving your flights with Qatar Airlines:

  • If you have booked and made payment through or their contact centers, kindly visit their official website to initiate a refund request. For all other cases, please get in touch with the office or travel agent from which you purchased your flight ticket. You can check this on your e-ticket receipt.
  • The refund for your guarantee payment, after verifying your original payment card, will be processed. You have to reply to the email from Qatar Airways Support to confirm your card and initiate the guarantee payment refund. Once your card is verified, Qatar Airways will issue your refund to the same card used for the guarantee payment. The refund might take up to 28 days to be reflected in your account.


1. Is it possible for me to travel with my service dog in the cabin?

Service dogs are permitted to travel on Qatar Airways-operated flights and on specific regulated routes, as mentioned in Article 18 of the Conditions of Carriage (check on the official website). All other types of animals are allowed to be transported within the aircraft hold (AVI) after collecting the applicable charges.

In situations where the rules of countries allow multiple dogs to be carried in the cabin, passengers are limited to a maximum of two dogs each.

Qatar Airways follows a procedure for accepting live animals, which compiles with the IATA Live Animas Regulations. Additionally, Qatar Airlines adheres to any other government regulations required by the transit, destination, and country of origin.

2. What are the documents required for filing a report for missing baggage?

After filing a report for missing baggage, you must keep certain documents on hand. These include your boarding stubs, ticket copy, and baggage tags. You might also be required to provide a copy of your passport.

In case your baggage has been declared missing despite our extensive search, we will need some documents to support your claim. This includes a copy of your passport, receipt from the baggage tag of the missing bag, receipts or proof of purchase for the things listed in your claim form, passenger ticket receipt, and stub from your boarding pass.

3. What are the eligibility criteria for reserving seats in the Emergency Exit row?

You will need to fulfill the following safety criteria in order to be eligible for an extra legroom emergency exit row seat in Qatar Airlines:

  • You need to be 18 years of age or above.
  • You must be able to understand the instructions provided on the Cabin Safety Card and be capable of following the Cabin Crew instructions in English at the time of emergency evacuation.
  • You must be physically fit without any medical conditions, pregnancy, or impairments affecting mobility, vision, mental health, or hearing.
  • You must be traveling without service dogs, children, or infants.

Please note that emergency seats might be re-assigned prior to or during the flight without providing any refund if the airline decides that the passenger doesn’t fulfill the above-mentioned criteria.

4. Can I request a refund for Seat Selection charges?

Only in case of involuntary changes caused by security, safety, or operational factors will the Seat Selection charges be refunded. However, the service charges are non-refundable if you have already purchased a seat voluntarily.
